I used acoustic curtains to divide a room that originally had no door, as shown in the attached photo. This space is located right next to the home studio, which is on the lower floor, and we needed to find a way to reduce sound transmission between these two rooms. Otherwise, sound from the home studio, where I frequently record and mix, would easily travel up the stairs and enter this room, which would mean the noise would spread to other parts of the house. Acoustic curtains turned out to be the ideal solution for this problem.
Acoustic curtains not only aesthetically fit into the space, but they also significantly improve the acoustics and reduce noise that would otherwise spread between the rooms. The installation of the acoustic curtains was simple and quick, but the result is really effective. The advantage is that they can easily be adjusted as needed, such as being pulled back when the room needs to be opened again or when more space is required.
Additionally, I decided to add you to our Instagram, where we love to share news, space improvement tips, and other interesting updates from the world of home studios and design. So, if you're looking for more inspiration or would like to see how other acoustic curtains look, you can check out my posts on Instagram by VocalBoothtogo.EU and follow what curtains our customers have purchased.
